Alex Hornest is a multidisciplinary artist (painter, sculptor, designer and filmmaker) also known as ONESTO, born in São Paulo/SP in 1972, began his artistic career in the 1990s on the streets making graffiti. He lives and works in São Paulo, a city that inspires him and makes him reflect on urban, playful and introspective themes. Based on this, he produces his works focused on the relationship between cities and their inhabitants. In his compositions, the combination of these elements results in textures, contrasts, colors and movements that become the key point for the interpretation of what he proposes in his works, with characters from his imagination moving in situations between reality and fiction in a lyrical universe filled with chaos, agitation and poetic license.
